In 2009 seduced by its old charm and its great location and knowing there was a shortage of high standard Hotels in Amiens’ town centre we decided to open our establishment, small and cosy, welcoming and respectful of nature.

After 18 months to establish a building permit and the same time spent in renovations, the Hôtel Marotte opened in summer 2012.

We aim to be a regular meeting place for Amiens’ inhabitants.

We also pay special attention to our foreign guests welcoming them in English, German and Spanish.

We have done everything in our power to make sure our Hôtel is adapted to and accessible to the disabled, a lift and special needs lift are at your disposal and we have made sure there are no differences in floor levels in the building.

We are hoping that this will earn us the “Tourisme et Handicap” standard (Tourism and Disability)
