We care about our planet and the environment, which is why we have chosen to renovate the building in an eco-friendly, way:

• The Cube is entirely built in cellular concrete, with very high insulation properties and has a green roof which makes temperature control much easier, and also insolates against noise, moistens and improves air quality.
• The Old House was renovated following “BBC” construction standards (French equivalent of Low-Energy House).
• The heating and hot water in the Hôtel Marotte are provided by a wood pellet water heating system.
• Our airing system ensures continuous fresh air at 19 to 20°C. In the summer, extra night ventilation ensures fresher, more comfortable rooms.,
• The Cube has shutters that we can move around to adapt to the heat and sunlight at any moment in the day, heating or cooling the inside building depending on our needs.

Of course we recycle and we use local services as much as possible, especially as we are so proud of local Picard specialties and we want to promote them.
